I didn't realized stuffed animals did that....

So, like a lot of kids, Shelby likes to put off going to bed as long as possible. She gets up to turn on the fan, to tell us there's a monster, etc. Her big thing is telling us that she has to go potty, since she knows we don't want her peeing in the bed.

We've gotten a bit smarter though and have her go one more time before laying down - even if she went 5 minutes before. She still tries saying she has to go and we've stopped letting her out of her room.

One night I put her to be and said "Shelby, do NOT get out of bed". She said "OK". About 3 minutes later she comes in with her Big Bird and says "Daddy, Big Bird needs to go potty".
